Description:
Mulino Dello Zoppo is a secluded millhouse surrounded by mature gardens and its own vineyard, nestled in the Val di Chio, Tuscany, not far from Cortona. It sleeps eight people comfortably, has it's own swimming pool and is available for rental or as a fully hosted experience.The accommodation comprises of two large double bedrooms and a further bedroom which contains twin beds with a set of pine bunk beds (optional). In addition to which you have a generously sized bathroom and additional shower room.
The first floor also includes a large, comfortable living/dining room with satellite television, video, stereo and large open fireplace. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equiped with breakfast table and chairs, oven and microwave.
The hill town of Castiglion Fiorentino is a matter of minutes away by car, and has loads of character and local charm, cobbled streets and a selection of shops to tempt you. There is a bustling market, which springs up each Friday throughout the year, full of local colour and is definitely worth a visit.
If it is sightseeing you are after, then you are spoilt for choice. Pisa, Florence, Siena and Assisi, to name a few, are all within an hour or two's drive, or easy to get to by train from the station in Castiglion Fiorentino. |
